On Wednesday 24th April, ex-England international cricketers Stuart Broad and Ian Ward visited the Bolder Sports Academy students to deliver an elite-level cricket coaching masterclass. It was a truly unforgettable afternoon which began with Ian Ward leading a question and answer session with Stuart Broad, watched by the Bolder Cricket Academy team made up of Sixth Form students and selected advanced cricket players from other year groups. Students posed a range of questions for Stuart regarding his inspirations, toughest opponent and mindset requirements to become a world-class cricketer.
The Q&A session was followed by a cricket coaching masterclass overseen by Hamzah Khan (Head Cricket Academy coach) with Stuart and Ian sharing invaluable insights and expertise to support their development with the upcoming cricket season ahead. We would like to share our appreciation to Ian and Stuart for sharing their knowledge and passion for the sport and to our partners at Sky Sports for making this truly memorable experience happen.
