BOLDER ACADEMY OFSTED REPORT - DECEMBER 2022 

We are delighted to announce that Bolder Academy achieved OUTSTANDING in Personal Development and GOOD in all other categories of the latest Ofsted Inspection (7th - 8th December 2022).

Performance tables:

Congratulations to the class of 2024 who have achieved fantastic results this year!

We are still awaiting validation of the results from the DFE and some remarks however, the provisional results indicate the following:

Highlights include:

  • 73% of students gained a grade 9-4 in Maths
  • 80% of students gained a grade 9-4 in English
  • 50% of students gained a grade 9-5 in Maths
  • 65% of students gained a grade 9-5 in English 
  • Average grade for all pupils 4.9

Amazing Outcomes:

Aini is staying at Bolder Academy Sixth Form to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths. She achieved: 

  • Grade 9 in Bio, Chem, Chinese, C.Science, Geog, Phys & DT.
  • Grade 8 in Eng Lan & Maths
  • Grade 7 in Eng Lit

Eva is staying at Bolder Academy Sixth Form to study Biology, French & Geography. She achieved:

  • Grade 9 in Arabic, Bio, Fre, Geo, PE
  • Grade 8 in Maths & Phys
  • Grade 7 in Eng Lan
  • Grade 6 in Eng Lit

Roan is staying at Bolder Academy Sixth Form to study Biology, Chemistry & Maths. He achieved:

  • Grade 9 in Bio, Chinese, C.Science & Art
  • Grade 8 in Engl Lan, Geog & Phys
  • Grade 7 in Eng Lit & Maths

Headteacher Mr De Angelis commented:

We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our Year 11 students. Their dedication to their studies is reflected in their outstanding results, and we wish them all the best as they embark on the next phase of their journey. We are excited to welcome many of them into our new Bolder Sixth Form.

Our teachers have once again gone above and beyond to support our students during their examinations, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to each of them for their unwavering commitment to our school and its students.

The school has maintained its progress score and we are excited to continue the development of the school, continually aspiring to offer a Bolder future for our students.
